Introduction to minimum core
Within teaching in further education it is of upmost importance to ensure that learners are working to at least level 2 GCSE maths and literacy and computer literate. Therefore when teaching I must incorporate those skills within my lessons, this is known as minimum core.
Within the pages of the minimum core section there will be the minimum core mapping documents which shows how I have incorporated minimum core not only in my lessons but also within my professional development. There will also be evidence showing how I have incorporated literacy, ICT and numeracy.
